I just got an email news alert from CBC:
A female soldier from Canada has been killed while serving in Afghanistan, military officials said Wednesday. She has not been
identified, but was a captain in the Canadian Forces. Details are scarce, but it is known she died during a major operation south of Kandahar.
I hate this! It needs to STOP!
Have you all heard of the Red Friday thing?
There is a campaign to get EVERYONE to wear red on Fridays (Both US and Canada) until all of our soldiers are home. I think it was started by soldier’s mothers.

My spoiler ban ends May 25th.
So I hear Lost is going to start at the usual time (in September/October), run for 7 episodes, have a freakin' 13 week hiatus then go straight through to the end. What do you think of that? 13 weeks is a looooong time. I'd rather they split it up more evenly.
